Sunday 20th – Day 190

Ok, now I’ve been posting for so long and never noticed that I haven’t been placing pictures of me, so here I am sleeping in the sofa. Yes I’ve been allowed on the sofa since Emília came home, see she thinks that my bed is her bathroom, so my bed has been taken away and I’m sleeping in the sofa. Thank you Emília it’s much more comfortable here. As you can see Monica has one and I have another. Petra has to sleep in the floor and be used as Mini-Millie’s bed, ha ha ha.

Friday 18th - Day 188

Autumn is coming. The mornings are getting colder and is still dark when we leave the house with the lady. Monica said she will start wearing her jackets soon. I remember seeing her dressed up last year once or twice although it was already March. Maybe she will dress me up too, the clothing looks warm. We also go home earlier, because it gets dark earlier too.
Today it was raining in the morning; Monica hates water so she refuses to leave the building. The lady has to carry her to the car. None of us like it but to make a fuss out of it!!!

This was a sad week for us at the farm, Tuesday we lost a foal. Little Daisy! She was going to get a hair cut when she was spooked by the sound of the machine stood in her hind legs, fell back and hit her head on the floor. She had a haemorrhage in her brain which left her in a coma. For the whole day and night the vet was in the farm, always hopping she would recover… but in the end she had to be put down.
Poor thing, she was just a year old. What a stupid way to go.

What a horrible year for us, so many losses…

Thursday 17th - Day 187

Ok remember how small our Emilia is, well for you to have a better idea, this was what the lady bought for her… a ferrets body collar… because the cat’s is to big.

Thursday 3rd - Day 173 - Chihuahua

The breed is considered the smallest dog in the world. That is our Emília.

With the last pictures posted I guess you could understand how small she is. Small but very brave! She is not scared of my growling or of any size dog. Playful like I’ve never seen.
Petra is her best friend and she bites her left to right. Petra is used as a chewing toy and as a bed. From the moment she arrives home until the lady goes to sleep, Petra has no rest.

Little Millie has been sick this past week. From Thursday onwards she had blood in her poop and from Friday onwards she had diarrhea. This was terrifying for us, she is only 700 grams and were so scared she would dehydrate. This was caused by worms. Although she was dewormed at the beginning of the month, seams like she had all this different kind of worms. She never stopped eating and drinking so she only lost 100 grams, which is very noticeable in that small body. The poor little sample has been taking so much medicine.

The good news is that the lady has to cook food for her every day and because she eats like a bird the rest of the food was given to us.

Thursday 20th - Day 159

Ok, remember when I mentioned that I don’t like pups… well the small hamster with dog smell keeps chasing me all over. Now she even goes to the farm and bug me. Hey pup I’m growling that means I don’t want you next to me!!!!

Rui was at the farm yesterday with his perfumed dogs and he took some pictures of her. Thank you Rui for that, this way I have proof that she pesters me.
